The exciting opportunity has arisen for a recruitment consultant to join the Guildford office of a leading Worldwide recruitment agency for their part qualified finance and accountancy division – placing candidates on £25k - £45k roles in and around the Surrey area. Your clients will be blue chip organisations, your candidates will be commercial/strategic finance specialists, not the usual old school accountants! You will inherit a desk that is realistically billing £30k a quarter, however, the market place dictates that the right person can get this desk running at around £60k a quarter. With an average fee of £7k, this is more than achievable. You will be given a full company induction covering how the company work and full recruitment training covering all areas of the job from candidate sourcing and service levels through to winning and delivering new business to ensure that you learn how to succeed in your role. Culturally, autonomy is a high priority, therefore, you will have the natural drive and enthusiasm to work to a high standard as part of a ‘grown up’ company where you will not be micro managed. As a business developer you will be a natural relationship builder and enjoy the challenge of hunting out candidates through headhunting, networking and gaining referrals. As well as the initial induction training, you will have access to ongoing training and coaching throughout your career based on your strengths and requirements. Once you are up and running you will be supported by a career plan to work towards – all Directors in the business joined as Consultants. Suitable candidates will have recruitment experience within a commercial market sector with a high level of energy, intelligence and a great attitude and approach to your career.
