Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Finance and Accountancy - Reading, Berkshire
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £19k - £22k Basic + Quarterly Bonus + Excellent Training + Pension + Bupa + Life Assurance + Additional Incentives
Description: Due to the success of the established temps team the exciting opportunity for a graduate or graduate calibre individual with a strong business to business sales background to join them in a trainee capacity has arisen. Responsible for new business development with plenty of cold calling you will be an integral part of one of the UK’s leading teams in this large Worldwide organisation and work alongside Consultants who have started in this role and are earning £75k in just over their 2nd year there.

You will be given exceptional training and development from day one with the support of your peers, manager and training team and as the only person in the office with less than 12 months’ experience you will have a good level of support and focus to help you develop in your role. Quarterly bonus will be paid based on top of the basic salary based on the candidates you place into your temp bookings.

Working for a successful fast-paced team placing finance and accountancy professionals into the Thames Valley market you will be responsible for providing qualified, shortlisted candidates for your assignments , building relationships with the candidates and ensuring that you become a recognised player in the finance temps market.

You will be working for a business who is working hard in a tough market and still head and shoulders above their competition due to drive, expertise and hard work. You will be a hard working individual with a proven competitive spirit and appreciate that as a Trainee you will have a tough career path ahead of you, though like your peers over time your hard work will pay off.

As a team you will be working alongside two hugely successful Consultants whose figures have meant that they are in the top 10 of the company’s league table of over 100 Consultants, therefore, hard work and a focus on your career and personal development is essential.

Suitable candidates will be a graduate or graduate calibre individual who is looking to get into a career in recruitment and enjoys the fast and hard pace of high volume business sales and wants to have the training, support and reputation that a leading employer can provide. You will have a track record of success in your studies, working life and/or sports and appreciate that now is a tough time to start a serious career and so you are willing to put in the hard work and dedication that will be required.

It is essential that you have worked in a high volume business to business sales role with plenty of cold calling in a targeted environment due to the pace that is required to build and run a successful temps division.

Candidates with a temp recruitment background will be considered if coming from a sales focused desk where you have been responsible for bringing in all of your temp business as opposed to being a booking-filler.
